천진난만(天眞爛漫)한 동심으로의 초대
만화적 화법에 ‘스토리가 문자로 표현’ 되는 새로운 기법을 활용, 창작 활동을 하는 송현진 작가의 작품은 기존 회화작품들에 비해 신선한 자극이 되고 있다. 제니(Jenny)와 여러 등장인물들의 대화를 통해 동심의 세계를 표현함으로서 어릴적 느꼈던 감동의 세계로 우리들을 초대하고 있다. 송현진 작가의 스토리가 있는 회화세계는 위로가 필요한 현대인들에게 따듯한 울림을 줄 것이다.(글/오르트 아트 스페이스)

[울지마요] 글/ 송현진
강아지 ‘쿠쿠‘와 제니는 미더덕 자동차를 타고 길을 가고 있다. 길을 가다가 하늘에서 떨어지는 빗방울을 발견한 제니는 손을 뻗어 빗방울을 받으려고 한다. 쿠쿠는 자동차를 탄 것이 마냥 신나기만 하다. 제니는 울지말라고 말한다. 하늘에서 내리는 빗물은 누군가의 눈물이라고 생각하기 때문이다. ‘울지마요.’ 미더덕 자동차도 ‘내가 대신 울어줄게 크항’ 하며 소리내어 울고 있다. 갑자기 내리는 비는, 갑자기 하늘이 찌푸러지고 빗방울이 떨어지는 것은 누군가가 어디선가 울고 있기 때문일 것이다. 제니는 그저 말 한마디 건네며 눈물을 받으려 한다.
Jenny thought that was tears of somebody. so she tried to capture it. and just told that don't cry I'll cry instead of you.
[제니와 베이컨] 글/ 송현진
선생님께 훌륭한 사람이 될수 있다고 칭찬을 들은 제니가 친구 베이컨과 함께 집에가는 길에 신이나서 노래를 지어 부르고 있는 모습이다.순수하고 어린 마음에 훌륭한 사람이 되겠다는 희망으로 가득차서 콧노래가 저절로 나오는 모양이다. 돼지 베이컨도 덩달아 춤을 추면서 제니에게 ‘너는 할수 있어.’라고 격려해 주고 있다.
complements make anyone dance like Jenny and Bacon. she's got heard some complements from her tutor. so she was dancing on the street. haha
[너무 귀여워] 글/ 송현진
동물원에서 레드팬더를 본 이후 인형보다 더 귀엽고 깜찍한 레드팬더를 꼭 만나보고 싶었던 제니가 드디어 직접 레드팬더를 만나게 된 장면이다. 레드팬더의 이름은 ‘판판’이다. 제니가 너무 귀엽다고 말해주자 판판은 ‘내가?’라며 반문하고 있다. 마음이 깨끗하고 순수한 제니에게는 특권처럼 동물친구들과 말을 할수 있는 능력을 갖고 있다.
Jenny has seen the red panda at the zoo. when she looked it she thought that's so cute like as a doll. finally she got a chance to meet red panda real. she wanted to meet him eagerly so she touched chubby cheeks of him.

[Let's comeback together] 글/ 송현진
제니와 사자‘리오’는 예전에 미더덕‘덕이’네 집에 놀러 간 적이 있었다. 그곳은 바닷속이었는데 리오는 그때 처음 수영을 해보았다. 리오는 그때부터 바다수영을 너무나 좋아하는 사자가 되었다. 해가 뉘엿뉘엿 지도록 리오는 물밖으로 나올 생각을 하지 않았다.
제니는 통나무를 베어 만든 조각배에 몸을 싣고 사자 리오를 찾아 나섰다. 노를 저어가며 리오가 있는 곳에 다다른 제니는 리오에게 ‘이제 그만놀고 집에 가자‘라고 말하고 있다. 거북이등껍질을 본 제니는 이게 뭐야 라며 호기심에 찬 눈으로 보고 있다. 또한명의 친구가 생기려나 보다.
Jenny and Lio have been visiting 덕‘s home. when they were there, they swam and watched a lot of friends who lives in the sea.
from that time, Lio has been like swimming so he goes to swim often. Jenny worried about coming down the darkness in eve. so she dropped by there for taking Lio to comeback together.

엄마방에서 제니는 몰래 화장도 해보고 머리에 구르프도 말고 한껏 예쁜척을 하고 있다. 제니는 아직 외모에 대한 기준은 없지만 외모에 관심이 많다. 꾸미는 것도 좋아하고 알록달록 색깔도 좋아하는 제니는 유치원에서 그림도 잘 그린다.

안경을 쓴 제니는 갑자기 자기가 못생겨 보였는지 시무룩하게 턱을 괴고 있었다. 이 모습을 본 베이컨이 제니에게 말한다. “제니야 너는 못생기지 않았어 슬퍼하지마~”위로의 말을 건네며 어깨를 토닥여 주는 베이컨은 제니의 좋은 친구다.
wearing glasses Jenny thought that i'm not a pretty one . when Bacon was staring at her. and she said to her that you're not ugly. Don't be sad. she just compelled her. so they are friends , goood friends.

마켓에서 3시에 보자며 제니가 전화로 친구와의 약속시간과 장소를 정하고 있는 모습이다. 창가에 기대어 한가로이 전화를 하는 제니 귀여운 모습이 담긴 그림이다.
Jenny was supposed to meet her friend today. so she's making a call to her dude. finally she makes a decision that she will meet her at market 3.

비행기로 변신한 미더덕을 타고 제니와 친구들이 하늘을 날아가고 있는 모습이다.
미처 비행기에 타지 못한 호랑이 ‘토글’과 문어 ‘키리‘는 겨우 비행기 끄트머리를 잡고 비행에 성공했고 나머지 친구들은 각기 스케이트보드등 탈것을 이용해 뒤따라 오고 있는 모습이다.
Jenny and her friends got on the 덕 that transformed to plane. they were flying to the sky high. it's so terrific experience in her life ever. Toggle and kiri just hold edge of 덕 so they were hanging and flying. haha. looks funny. Lilly and other friends followed them.

어느날 단체사진을 찍게 된 제니와 친구들. 사자리오의 머리를 예쁘게 묶어준다며 문어 키리가 발 두 개로 머리를 붙잡고 있다. 리오는 머리가 따가웠는지 살짝 인상이 일그러졌다. 그런 리오에게 제니는 ‘괜찮아? 리오야?’물어보고 있다.
once a day , they had a time for taking a photo all together.
Kiri has been tiding Lio's hair for looking good. but Lio was feeling that so uncomfortable. haha Jenny was so caring about him .

학교에 지각을 하게 생겼다. 그래서 고릴라 릴 리가 스케이트보드를 타고 제니와 베이컨을 데려다 주었다. 한손에는 도시락까지 챙겨들고서 씽씽 달려 갔다. 동물친구들은 못하는게 없는 재주꾼들이다. 어린 꼬마 제니는 여러 동물친구들과 어울리면서 배우는 점이 많다.
I was likely to late for school today. so Lilly brought us in her arms by riding a skateboard. she's really fast and good at riding it. so talented haha. Jenny thought that I like her and I want to learn it from her. especially Lilly didn't forget our yummy lunchbox! so adorable.

오늘은 특별한 날이 아니다. 그렇지만 동물친구들 사자 리오와 곰돌이 우잉은 제니를 위해 특별한 식사를 준비했다. 샌드위치는 함께 만들어 높이 쌓아올렸고, 각자 준비한 것은 리오는 계란 후라이와 초코케익 한조각이며, 우잉은 완두콩 세 개와 에그타르트 한 개다. 소소한 음식들이지만 제니는 자신을 위해 이렇게 준비한 동물친구들이 너무 고마워서 감동했다.
today isn't a specail day. but Jenny's friends were preparing some special foods for Jenny. White Big Bear 'Wooing' and Kind Lion 'Lio' were making some high sandwiches and so on. they made and brought their dishes. such as an egg fried and a piece of chocolate cake and so on. those so not differ from usual. but they were thinking that we have to make some food only for our lovley Jenny. when Jenny saw the foods on the table, she was really impressed by them.

[welcome to my place]
오늘은 미더덕 덕이네 집에 놀러갔다. 제니와 사자 리오와 함께 말이다. 바닷속은 너무나 신비로왔다. 밖에서는 볼 수 없는 바닷속 친구들이 아주 많이 살고 있었다. 물고기들과 안녕하며 인사를 주고 받고 있다. 미더덕은 자신의 집에 놀러온 제니와 리오를 반갑게 맞이하고 있다. 여기가 내 집이야 라며 바닷속을 소개한다.
Jenny went to 덕‘s place with Lio. it was so amazing to see under the sea. there are so many friends. she just said 'hello' to a small fish. and 덕 said that here's my place, so welcome and let's have a good time with me! 글/ 송현진
[작가노트]
따뜻한 오후 지는 햇빛이 얼굴에 내리쬐는 온세상이 황금빛으로 물드는 시각, 한 아이가 한 손에는 학교 숙제로 보이는 만들기를 한손에는 콘 아이스크림을 들고 마주 걸어오고있다. 한손에 든 만들기를 떨어뜨리지 않으려는 신중함과 진중함, 동시에 다른 한손에 들린 너무나 달콤하고 시원한 아이스크림을 한입 크게 베어 무는 순진무구함을 보면서 나의 어린시절을 떠올려 보았다. 신나고 재미있는 이야기나 동화를 들을때면 그 속의 주인공들이 모두 실재한다고 믿었고, 그 사건이, 그 만화의 내용이 너무나 중요한 의미였다. 몸과 마음이 자라 다큰 어른이 되었지만 아직도 마음 한켠에 자리하고 있는 아이감성이 비단 나만의 이야기가 아니라는 것을 알게 되었을때 나는 그들을 위한 그림이 그리고 싶어졌다. 살아가면 살아갈수록 세상속에 찌들고 풍파에 패어진 홈이 늘어가는 사람들의 지친 일상의 모습을 볼때면 더욱 그들이 안쓰럽고 어린시절의 순수함을 다시금 느끼게 해주고 싶은 마음이 가득히 일어난다. 나의 그림에 등장하는 Lio, Bacon, 44, Deock, Jenny, David, Kiri,Milkyway, Lilly, W.B가 그런 이야기들을 하나하나 만들어서 보여줄것이다.
My drawing is simple and easy to see.
It gives you feeling like that you see the note of someone’s who likes drawing note.
Because it is including some texts and funny comments pretty much, so I believe you who saw my pictures got a smile in your mind. That’s what I wanted to see your face.
Drawing is so interesting to me. That always makes me happy and falls in it.
I can’t stop drawing since I started to draw for my artwork.
These are all my artwork in 2015.
Untill now I really wanted to find own my drawing style and build own my art world.
Finally from this year I have got it.
In my opinion, I surly should draw what I want. And I have to feel happiness while I am making some pictures. So it will be spreading as artwork of mine.
I was thinking of my memory when I was young kid. And I thought about beautiful scene of mine when I was drawing.
I want to tell you name of my lovely characters.
Frist, a little girl’s name is Jenny, and boy’s name is David, deer is 44, lion is Lio, whale is Pinkyway,
Green monster is Deock, tiger is Toggle, octopus is Kiri, gorilla is Lilly, white big bear is W.B, and pig is Bacon.
They will be making another stories on my canvases.
I want you to be happy with my drawings always.
